What started as a creative sprint turned into a Google-featured brand.
Moodlings — a gang of loveable, mood-boosting gummy characters — were brought to life using Pencil and Google’s latest GenAI tools, including Veo 3, now live in public preview on Vertex AI.
Moodlings began as a brand challenge at SXSW London for BIMA, powered by our friends at Jellyfish. The team — including Tom Roach, Emily Collins, Lucas Stanley, Gemma Cotterell, Sam Yates, Margaux Dalgleish and Sahar Amer — built everything from brand strategy to production in a single day using Pencil’s GenAI platform, layered with Veo 3, Gemini and Imagen.
The result? A bright, breezy, joy-filled brand world that caught Google’s eye and ended up featured in their official launch of Veo 3 on Vertex AI.
Veo 3 takes GenAI storytelling up a level, letting creators generate cinematic video with built-in sound, realistic physics, and scene-level control — all from a single prompt.
