Monotype
What it does
Connects to the Monotype Fonts API so users can browse Monotype font collections from inside Pencil's brand library and import licensed fonts as first-class brand assets. Imported fonts are stored alongside other brand assets and become available to the editor for use in ads, variations, and templates

Designers and marketers can use their organization's licensed Monotype fonts directly in Pencil without manual font file uploads, ensuring on-brand typography across every creative produced

IN: Font collections and font metadata (family, style, weight, metrics, variations, designers, languages, samples) plus font files (.ttf) flow from Monotype into Pencil's asset library as FONT-type assets.
OUT: Nothing — no fonts, usage data, or assets are pushed back to Monotype (OAuth token exchange only).
