A catalogue that needed to scale, fast

Lounge Lovers sells across a broad furniture range: sofas and lounges, dining tables and chairs, living room pieces, bedroom furniture and storage. Every product needs styled, on-brand imagery that looks considered and real, not like a flat product shot.

The traditional route to that imagery is slow and expensive. Photography, styling, studio time and post-production retouching stack up across weeks, and the cost climbs with every category and every SKU. At catalogue scale, that model becomes a bottleneck.

One master workflow, replicated with control

The team built a single master workflow in Pencil and replicated it across the remaining 299 assets. Structured, JSON-based prompting held the creative direction steady from the first image to the last, so styling references carried through the full set with consistency.

This is the human-in-the-loop model in practice. People set the creative standard and reviewed the output. Pencil handled the volume. The brief was demanding: every image had to be 100% structurally correct, with styling references reflected accurately throughout.

Right first time, at scale

300 highly stylized, production-ready images were delivered in six weeks, spanning hundreds of individual product assets across every furniture category.

Structured prompting drove accuracy from the outset. Most assets were approved on the first review cycle, or with a single revision, which cut rework sharply. Client feedback was strongly positive, with particular praise for the realism, accuracy and overall quality of the imagery.

Quality that held up under a demanding brief

Most assets were approved on the first review cycle, or with only a single revision - a right-first-time outcome made possible by structured, JSON-based prompting rather than freeform generation. The result: highly stylized, production-ready imagery that met a demanding creative brief without compromising on craftsmanship.

Large-scale, detail-rich briefs don’t have to trade quality for volume. With the right workflow and people in the loop, Lounge Lovers got both: a full asset library, delivered faster and cheaper, with the craft intact.

Nicole Denning - Marketing Lead, Lounge Lovers

"We had a unique challenge: we needed to create 300 lifestyle images to support our new website and brand direction, but didn’t have the time or budget to produce them through traditional photoshoots. OLIVER | The Brandtech Group powered by Pencil, was the perfect solution, helping us bring our vision to life in a fraction of the time and at a significantly lower cost.

Working closely with the OLIVER Australia team, we developed a briefing model to ensure consistency across every image, from product angles and colour palettes to styling. The result was a cohesive library of 300 lifestyle imagery that brought our new brand direction to life, without the time and cost of traditional production."
